Game-Changer for Our Family – We Love Our YardRink!

This was our first season with a YardRink, and we absolutely love it! It has truly been one of the best investments we’ve made for our family.

My 13-year-old son homeschools, so having a rink in our backyard means he can skate as much as the weather permits. The flexibility has been incredible — he’s able to get meaningful ice time during the day and spend his free time outside instead of indoors. Even better, it’s created a place for him and his friends to just play. There’s something special about unstructured ice time — no drills, no coaches, no pressure — just creativity, fun, and a love for the game. That kind of free play is so valuable for development.

From a product standpoint, YardRink was easy to assemble and very well thought out. We especially love that the liner sits on the outside of the boards — it protects it from getting damaged while shoveling, which is a huge plus. The included nets at each end were also a fantastic bonus. They’ve helped keep pucks from constantly disappearing into the snow, which makes pickup games run much smoother!

We couldn’t be happier with our purchase and are already looking forward to many more seasons on our YardRink.

Highly recommend!

We liked that YardRink would work with us to find the right custom size. We also wanted something that would be easy to set up, take down, and store, and YardRink checked all those boxes as the other kits were pricier, too big, and seemed difficult to assemble.

What sold me on YardRink was how simple it looked to set up and that I could create a custom size for our backyard. We don’t have a massive backyard and YardRink made it easy to build a rink that takes advantage of the available space.
